I sympathize....but with a significant other who is a redhead, not an option...she would have no issues with the money, just me bringing them into HER house...
As much as I grouse though, wouldn't trade her for two blondes. Not that I wouldn't fantasize about it ...God I hope she never figures out my passwords....

You are spot on. They ARE hard to live with...
But I've been with her since the mid 90's...i. Started out as a tenant in an apartment building ( little one) I own, then employee, we didn't start dating till after a couple years...
There is no way I could start over with somebody else after all the work we've done trying to tolerate each other...we still fight wars, just no nuclear weapons...
And I am probably not the easiest in the world to live with...

Ron she's a pro model, not my redhead, the other one. So may be something objectionable there. I took that line out in the interest of not putting anyone at risk. To my eyes at least my girl is gorgeous. And honestly, that's the only set of eyes I care about.
I agree may well be worth more than the 6k to get back on track...OTOH, a bird in the hand...

I found a schematic for sale on ebay - Western Electric BSP &Schematic for 142 type amplifiers
COLLECTORS...you are buying on a copy of BSP and Schematic of section 024-106-100 on the 142 type Amplifier..this is a 15 page document, has parts list, schematic of 142A, and schematic of the 141A which has the rare 618-B transformer which turns the 142A into a 142B, has 142A WIRING diagram, has 141A wiring diagram...
